Information about Kuala Lumpur

About KL
Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s largest capital city, a center for cultures and traditions that blend into the modern landscape. The landscape is tropical along with the weather, so expect humidity, heat and rainfall most of the year. Much of the tourist charm lies in the juxtaposition of historical and cultural landmarks sitting alongside towering buildings and shopping malls. This dichotomy is what makes Kuala Lumpur a fascinating place to explore and discover, as well as for holiday relaxation and shopping.

Tourist Guide for Kuala Lumpur Tourist Guide
Kuala Lumpur offers a fascinating experience for the holiday traveller and tourist. The first thing to bear in mind is that the weather is hot and humid throughout the year, with plenty of rain and occasional thunderstorms. Hence, wear light clothing and bring along your sunnies. While the national language is Malay, most of us speak English to a certain degree. The people are usually more than willing to help you with directions or other things if you ask politely.
Transportation in Kuala Lumpur Transportation
Transportation in Kuala Lumpur is often touted as being the best in Malaysia, but in reality, public transport over here can sometimes be inefficient and haphazard. Still, the major modes of transport by city trains and buses provide a relatively cheap mode of travel for tourists to reach different landmarks and attractions in KL. Taxis or cabs are another method of getting around Kuala Lumpur, but that is definitely more expensive and sometimes harrowing, as will be explained later.
